Tregawne Cottages form an attractive cluster of five sympathetically converted stone cottages from former farm barns which were originally built in the mid eighteenth century. The properties are located in the picturesque hamlet of Withiel in a beautiful corner of Cornwall designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The extended scenic Camel Trail is within two miles , the Eden Project is within twenty minutes drive, and there are lovely forestry walks close by. Public footpaths and bridalways and the River Ruthern with it's protected Otters form part of this stunning countryside.The cottages are very well positoned for exploring all other parts of Cornwall and the many attractions that the county offers. The fabulous beaches of the North Cornwall coastline including Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay, Polzeath, and Hawker's Cove are all easily accessible within thirty minutes drive. The cottages welcome children and well behaved dogs. WiFi access.
For food lovers Cornwall offers a truly fantastic choice of excellent restaurants and pubs , Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant, St Petroc's Bistro , Stein's cafe, Margot's and Pescadou in Padstow and at St Merryn Stein's new pub -The Cornish Arms. Paul Ainsworth at Number Six in Padstow recently acquired Rojano's which offers authentic Italian cusine. Nathan Outlaw heads the restaurant at the St Enodoc Hotel at Rock only thirty minutes away. At Watergate Bay Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall overlooks the beach offering unrivalled views.There are many good pubs to be found throughout the county.
Course fishing, horseriding at Denbigh's Stables, wine tasting and tours at Camel Valley Vineyards are located close by. St Enodoc golf course, sailing and water skiing are to be found at Rock. Harlyn Bay, Polzeath, and Fistral Bay ( Newquay) offer some of the best surfing in Cornwall. For golf enthusiasts aswell as St Enodoc and Trevose the area also offers St Kew nine hole golf course and the Llanhydrock golf course.
